Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effectiveness and prognosis of mechanical thrombolysis in acute ischemic stroke. Methods A total of 200 inpatients with acute ischemic stroke in the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University from January 2021 to January 2023 were collected and divided into two groups based on different treatmen methods:the observation group(n=50)received intra-arterial mechanical thrombectomy therapy, while the control group received intravenous thrombolytic therapy. The main comparison was made between the two groups in terms of vascular recanalization rate and prognosis improvement.Another 100 patients with acute stroke who had also received mechanical thrombectomy were divided into three groups based on the blood pressure:A,B,and C.Systolic and diastolic blood pressures were measured within 24 hours after treatment respectively, and the blood pressure levels and the risk of adverse prognosis in each group were evaluated. Results The vascular recanalization rate and good prognosis rate of the observation group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).In the comparison of NIHSS scores, the performance of the observation group after the operation was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The data revealed that the highest and lowest systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and mean arterial pressure in group C were significantly higher than those in group A and group B(P<0.05).However,the rate of poor prognosis within 90 days after surgery and the probability of symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage within 24 hours in group C were both higher than those in group A and group B(P<0.05).Conclusion Among the strategies for treating acute ischemic stroke, mechanical thrombectomy has been proven to be more effective than intravenous thrombolysis, significantly improving the neurological function recovery and vascular recanalization rate of patients. However, the complications after this therapy often lead to elevated blood pressure, which is a phenomenon worthy of close attention.
