The Effect of Argatroban Combined with Butylphthalide in the Treatment of Ischemic Stroke

Abstract：Objective To clarify the actual therapeutic effect of combined treatment with argatroban and butylphthalide on patients with ischemic stroke,with a focus on exploring its improvement on patients'neurological function and activities of daily living.Methods A total of 104 subjects were included in this study.The research unit was determined to be the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University.The time period was from January 2021 to January 2023,totaling 12 months.They were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group with 52 cases each by flipping a coin.Special personnel were assigned to measure the Modified Rankin Scale(MRS)scores of patients under different treatment methods,the Wechsler Memory Scale(WMS)scores before and after treatment,the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale(MoCA)scores,the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)scores,the Activity of Daily Living(ADL)scores,and the changes in hemorheological indicators.Results In terms of clinical efficacy,the observation group performed better than the control group.After treatment,the scores of WMS,MoCA,NIHSS and ADL in the observation group improved more significantly.The laboratory results of whole blood high/low shear viscosity and plasma viscosity showed that the blood rheology of the observation group after treatment was more stable compared to that before treatment and that of the control group using a single drug(P<0.05).Conclusion The combined application of argatroban and butylphthalide in the treatment of ischemic stroke can significantly improve the clinical efficacy.The plasma viscosity is significantly improved during the treatment,and the intracranial hemodynamic state is stabilized.Compared with traditional treatment methods,this combined therapy is more conducive to improving the quality of life of patients and is worthy of clinical wide application.
