Abstract:Objective To investigate the significance of joint detection of peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets and immunoglobulin levels in children with hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD).Methods 110 children with HFMD admitted to pediatric department in my hospital from March 2015 to October 2015 were selected as the study group.80 healthy children who took physical examination in our hospital during that period were selected as the control group.Nephelometry and flow cytometry were adopted to detect and compare CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,CD4+ / CD8+ ratios and IgM,IgG and IgA levels between the two groups. Results CD3+, CD4+,CD8+ in children with HFMD were significantly lower than those in control group (P <0.000 1).There was no significant difference in CD4+ / CD8+ ratio between two Groups (P> 0.05).IgG,IgA levels of children with HFMD were remarkably lower than those of the control group (P <0.000 1).IgM of the study group was slightly higher than that of the control group (P =0.038 5).Conclusion Children with HFMD have cellular and humoral immune disorders and joint detection of peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets and immunoglobulin levels in the diagnosis and treatment of HFMD has a positive significance.
