Clinical Evaluation of TCD on Cerebral Blood Flow Changes in Patients with Lacunar Infarction

Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical significance of TCD in cerebral hemodynamic monitoring in patients with lacunar infarction. Methods 60 patients with lacunar infarction admitted into our hospital from January 2015 to December 2015 were selected as subjects, and 60 healthy people were selected as the control group.TCD was used to detect the blood flow velocity and pulsatility index of major cerebral arteries (the middle cerebral artery, anterior cerebral artery, posterior cerebral artery and vertebral basilar artery) in the patients with lacunar infarction and the healthy people of the control group, and the results were statistically analyzed. Results Compared with that of the control group, the peak systolic velocity of the middle cerebral artery and vertebral basilar artery in the patients with lacunar infarction was relatively decreased(P<0.05),and the pulsatility index (PI) was relatively increased (P<0.05).Conclusion TCD has positive clinical significance in the monitoring intracranial arteriole lesions.
