Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of posterolateral approach in the treatment of posterolateral tibial plateau fractures. Methods From January 2015 to March 2017,16 patients with posterolateral tibial plateau fractures in the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University and the 205 Hospital of People`s Liberation Army were randomly divided into two groups and treated with two posterior knee surgical approaches.8 patients received posterolateral approach, while 8 patients received posterior midline approach. After operation, perioperative data, internal fixation effects and knee function score were compared and analyzed. Results The indexes of operation time, blood loss and HSS score 6 months after operation by posterolateral approach were better than those by posterior midline approach (P<0.05).Fracture healing time and Rasmussen radiological score were not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion Posterolateral approach in the treatment of posterolateral tibial plateau fractures has the advantages of clear exposure, small invasion and good postoperative functional recovery.
