Abstract:Objective To compare the clinical effects of laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery and open colorectal cancer surgery on immune function. Methods 58 patients with colorectal cancer admitted to our hospital from June 2015 to November 2016 were selected as the study subjects, and they were divided randomly into the experimental group and the control group, with 29 cases in each group.Patients in the control group received open colorectal cancer surgery, while laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery was implemented on patients in the experimental group. The levels of C-reactive protein (CRP) and IL-6 in patients` blood were measured 1 day before operation,3 days,1 week and 2 weeks after operation respectively. The results of the two groups were compared.ResultsAccording to observation and research,on the third day after operation, differences between the two groups in immune function were not statistically significant. However,in the first and second week after operation, the immune function of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery has minor impacts on patients' body and effectively protects patients` immune function.
