Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of levamlodipine besylate in treatment of mild and moderate primary hypertension of different renin types. Methods 100 patients with mild and moderate primary hypertension, admitted into our hospital from January 2014 to February 2016 were divided into low-renin group (n=31),normal-renin group (n=32),high-renin group (n=37) by their plasma renin levels. All the patients were given same dose of levamlodipine besylate for 6 months,5 mg/d.Comparison was made in the differences of the heart rate variability(HRV),blood pressure variability (BPV),central aortic pressure, and high sensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) of three groups. Results Before treatment, the HRV,BPV,central aortic pressure,hs-CRP of three groups were compared, and there was no statistical difference (P>0.05).After treatment, the HRV of low-renin group was significantly higher than that of normal-renin group and high-renin group (P<0.05).The BPV,central aortic pressure,hs-CRP of low-renin group were significantly lower than that of normal-renin group and high-renin group (P<0.05).Conclusion Levamlodipine besylate might have better effect in treating low-renin mild and moderate primary hypertension, which can effectively control blood pressure, improve heart rate variability, prevent cardio-cerebrovascular adverse events, and is worthy of clinical reference.
