The Application of Magnetic Resonance Imaging in the Diagnosis of Early Ankylosing Spondylitis

Abstract：Objective To explore the application value of the magnetic resonance imaging at the early stage of ankylosing spondylitis sacroiliac joint lesions in clinical manifestation.Methods 60 cases of patients with early ankylosing spondylitis (120 joints in total) were given bilateral sacral joint magnetic resonance imaging and CT imaging.Results By MRI,59 patients were detected abnormal,while through CT,46 patients were detected abnormal.The test result by MRI was obviously better than that by CT,with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion MRI can be used for the clinical diagnosis of early ankylosing spondylitis.This medical research confirms that the detection rate of MRI is very high,which can be widely applied to clinical diagnosis.
