The Therapeutic Effect of Pediatric Enteroscopy on Pediatric Polyps

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the effect of pediatric enteroscopy on the pediatric polyp through retrospective analysis.Methods By reviewing and analyzing the cases of 30 children with polyps who treated with pediatric enteroscopy from Jan.2010 to Jun.2015 in our hospital.Results 37 polyps were found and cut from 30 patient children in the case,26 patients of whom had a solitary polyp and 4 patients had multiple polyps,with 40.5％ rectum polyps,45.9％ from sigmoid colon,5.4％ descending colon,5.4％ transverse colon,and 2.7％ asending colon and cecum polyps.And there were 31 juvenile polyps,3 inflammatory polyps,adenomatous polyps and 1 P-J polyps.37 polyps from 30 patients with colonic polyp were excised completely,without perforation and hemorrhage.All clinical symptoms disappeared after the operation.26 patients were given follow-up visit within 3 months,and no recurrence was found.Conclusion The method of using pediatric enteroscopy to treat children with colonic polyps has obvious curative effect,high safety and it is worthy of clinical application.
