Expression and Significance of PA28β in Colon Cancer Tissues

Abstract：Objective To detect the difference of the expression of PA28β in cancer tissues and paracancerous tissue of patients with colon cancer and explore the function of PA28β in the process of occurrence and development of colon cancer.Methods Immunohistochemical detection was used to test the expression of PA28β protein in 43 pairs of colon cancer tissues and paracancerous tissues.The difference of expression of PA28β gene in colon cancer tissues and paracancerous tissues was detected by RT-PCR technique.Results The expression of PA28β in colon cancer tissues was lower than that in paracancerous tissues,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion PA28β is associated with the process of occurrence and development of the colon cancer.
