Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of magnesium ion and zinc ion on the function of human vascular endothelial cells and smooth muscle cells. Methods The research cultured human vascular endothelial cells and smooth muscle cells in vitro and simulated the biodegradable magnesium alloy stent by using magnesium chloride and zinc chloride solution. After degrading in vivo, the research would investigate the effects of magnesium ion and zinc ion on the migration function of human vascular endothelial cells and smooth muscle cells.Smooth muscle cells and human vascular endothelial cells were divided into 3 groups, comparison group, group of magnesium chloride and group of zinc chloride. The last two groups were used to compare with the first group, the number of the migration cells to be calculated and statistically analyzed. Results At the concentration of 12.5 mmol/L magnesium chloride, the number of migration vascular endothelial cells was (120.00±12.14),which was higher than that in comparison group(94.80±9.50)(P<0.05).At the concentration of 100 μmol/L zinc chloride, the number of migration vascular endothelial cells was (113.20±10.83),which was higher than that in comparison group(94.80±9.50)(P<0.05).At the concentration of 12.5 mmol/L magnesium chloride, the number of migration smooth muscle cells was (33.78±8.05),which was lower than that in comparison group(40.39±6.60)(P<0.05).At the concentration of 100 μmol/L zinc chloride, the number of migration smooth muscle cells was (20.36±7.02),which was lower than that in comparison group(40.39±6.60)(P<0.05).Conclusion Magnesium ion and zinc ion can promote the migration of human vascular endothelium cells and inhibit the migration of smooth muscle cells.
