Effect of Yinzhihuang Granules Combined with Blue-Light in the Treatment of Neonatal Jaundice

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of Yinzhihuang Granules Combined with blue-light in the treatment of neonatal jaun-dice. Methods 90 cases with pathological jaundice admitted in the Neonate Department of our hospital from January 2013 to January 2015 were selected and randomly divided into 2 groups with 45 cases in each. Both groups were given basic treatment. The control group were treated with blue light irradiation therapy alone, and the observation group with Yinzhihuang Granules Combined with blue-light therapy. Results (1) Compared with the control group, 48 hours after treatment, the serum bilirubin level was significantly lower in the observation group, and the elimination time was significantly shorter, P<0. 05. The serum bilirubin level 48 hours after treatment was significantly lower than that before treatment, P<0. 05. (2) Compared with the control group (66. 67%), the efficiency of the observation group (95. 56%) was higher, P<0. 05. (3) Compared with the control group (35. 56%), the adverse effect rate (11. 11%) was lower in the observation group, P<0. 05. Data comparison difference was statistically significant, P<0. 05. Conclu-sion Yinzhihuang Granules Combined with blue light irradiation in the treatment of neonatal jaundice proves to be clinically effective, which is conducive to speeding up the neonatal jaundice elimination, and reducing serum bilirubin concentration, with less adverse effect and better security. Therefore, it is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
