Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of ultrasound guided puncture and drainage on the treatment of breast abscess. Methods In the period from December 2014 to December 2015, 100 cases of breast abscess patients were treated in our hospital and they were taken as the research objects. A retrospective analysis of clinical data of the patients was carried out, in which 52 cases of patients received ultrasound guided puncture and drainage ( experimental group) , while 48 patients were given conventional drainage for treatment ( control group) . Treatment status, effect and degree of satisfaction were observed and compared between the two groups of patients. Results After treatment, the pain scores of experimental group were significantly lower, with shorter healing time and in-cision scar length. Besides, treatment efficiency was higher in the experimental group, and the patients’ degree of satisfaction was significantly higher in this group. The above differences were statistically significant ( P<0. 05 ) . Conclusion Ultrasound guided puncture drainage can be used in the treatment of breast abscess, which not only reduces pain and improves the condition of scar, but also enables the wound to recover faster and has a more obvious treatment effect. patients get higher degree of satisfaction. Therefore, the method is worthy of further application and promotion in clinical treatment.
