Abstract:Objective To compare the clinical effect between locking proximal femoral plate ( LpFp) and proximal femoral nail anti-rotation ( pFNA) for the treatment of intertrochanteric fracture. Methods 80 cases of patients with intertrochanter fracture of fe-mur treated in our hospital from March 2013 to June 2015 were selected and divided into the control group and the research group ac-cording to the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. patients in the control group were treated with LpFp, while those in the research group were treated with pFNA. The operation time, operative incision, intraoperative blood loss, complication rate, fracture healing time, postoperative Hrrries score, postoperative lead flow and bed-rest time of the two groups were recorded and the statistical analysis was carried out. Results The operation time, fracture healing time, complication rate, postoperative Har-ries score of the two groups had no significant differences (P>0. 05). The operative incision, intraoperative blood loss, bed-rest time and postoperative drainage volume of the research group were significantly lower than those of the control group ( P<0. 05 ) . Conclu-sion Both pFNA and LpFp have certain effects on the treatment of intertrochanteric fracture, but pFNA is more simple in operation with fewer complications and patients can recover faster, which is worthy of clinical application.
