Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical application of color doppler ultrasound in the prediction of upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage in patients with liver cirrhosis. Methods 89 cases of patients with liver cirrhosis that were treated in our hospital from January 2013 to January 2015 were selected and divided into observation group ( combined with upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage, 34 cases) and control group ( without upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage, 55 cases) .All patients were examined with color doppler ultra-sound.Results The inner diameter of the portal vein and the splenic vein of patients in the observation group were significantly larger than that of the control group, and the average speed of the portal vein and the splenic vein were significantly lower than that of the control group. The blood flow of the portal vein and the splenic vein of patients in the observation group were significantly higher than that of the control group. The differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05 ) .The inner diameter and the shunt index of the left gastric vein of the observation group were significantly larger than that of the control group. The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The color doppler ultrasound has important clinical application value in the prediction of upper gastrointesti-nal hemorrhage in patients with liver cirrhosis.
