Abstract:Objective To explore the effects of different molecular biological methods of detecting the samples of hand-foot-and-mouth disease. Methods 120 samples of hand-foot-and-mouth disease in our hospital were collected and they were divided into re-al -time RT-PCRZ group, one-step RT-PCRZ group and nested PCR groupaccording to different molecularbiological methods. The sensitivity differences in detecting EV71 among these three groups were compared. Results The detection rates of real-time RT-PCR and nested PCR were significantly higher than that of one-step RT-PCR (P<0.05).Concluison In detection of hand-foot-and -mouth disease, real-time RT-PCR and nested PCR have higher detection accuracy, which are worthy of promotion in clinical detec-tion.
