The Effects of Butylphthalide Injection on the Expression of Bcl-2 and Bax Protein of Rats with Cerebral Ischemia Reperfusion Injury

Abstract：Objective To observe the neuroprotective effect of butylphthalide injection on cell apoptosis after cerebral ischemia reperfusion in rats.Methods Fifty male SD rats were selected and randomly divided into three groups, the sham operation group ( n=10), the ischemia reperfusion group (n=20) and the butylphthalide injection group (n=20).The model of cerebral ischemia reperfusion in the right middle cerebral artery of SD rats was prepared with ischemia 2h and reperfusion 22h.The butylphthalide injec-tion group was treated with butylphthalide intraperitoneal injection after one hour of ischemia.The sham operation group and the ische-mia reperfusion group were treated with the same volume of saline.The volume of cerebral infarction was observed by TTC staining and the expression of Bcl-2 and Bax were observed by immunohistochemistry.Results Compared with the ischemia reperfusion group, the degree of nervous functional defects and the infarct volume of the butylphthalide injection group was reduced, with the expression of Bcl increased and the expression of Bax reduced.Conclusion The butylphthalide injection proves to have protective effects on the ap-optosis of nerve cells of rats after cerebral ischemia reperfusion.
