Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of minimally invasive surgery combined with Chinese medicine in the treat-ment of urinary calculi and provide a reference for the clinical treatment of urinary calculi. Methods 84 patients with ureteral calculi who were underwent minimally invasive surgery in our hospital from January 2013 to January 2015 were randomly divided into the con-trol group and the observation group. The two groups were both treated with ureteroscope in the operation. And the patients in the con-trol group were given Shenshitong granules for the treatment, while the patients in the observation group were treated with traditional Chinese medicine. The clinical effective rates of the treatment and the adverse reactions of two groups were compared. Results The effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (92. 9% vs 76. 2%) and the difference was significant (P<0. 05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0. 05). Conclusion Minimally invasive surgery combined with traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of urinary calculi is safe and effective. Be-sides, patients have recovered quickly and have had few adverse reactions. It is worthy of clinical application.
