Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical curative effect of laparoscopic appendectomy in the treatment of appendicitis. Methods 84 cases of appendicitis treated in our hospital from August 2014 to May 2015, were divided according to the principle of random distribution into the observation group and the control group, 42 cases in each group. Patients of the observation group were giv-en laparoscopic appendectomy, while those of the control group were treated by the traditional appendectomy. The clinical curative effects of the two groups were compared after treatment. Results For the patients of the observation group, the intraoperative blood loss was (35±15) mL, the operation time was (21±5) min, the length of hospital stay was (2±1. 5) d, the incidence of compli-cations was 4. 8%. For the patients of the control group, the intraoperative blood loss was (109±15) mL, the operation time was (43 ±5) min, the length of hospital stay was (6±1. 5) d, the incidence of complications was 26. 2%. There was statistically significant difference in clinical curative effects of the two groups ( P< 0. 05 ) . Conclusion The clinical curative effect of laparoscopic appen-dectomy in the treatment of appendicitis is distinct in the aspect of lowering the complications, reducing the intraoperative blood loss and shortening the patients’ hospital stay.
