Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of atorvastatin on serum levels of TNF-α, IL-6 and hs-CRP in the treatment of pa-tients with coronary heart disease (CHD). Methods 198 patients with CHD from March 2012 to December 2014 in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into group A and group B. Patients in group A were given conventional treatment such as anti-coag-ulation and angina relief, while those in group B were given atorvastatin on the basis of the group B. Serum levels of TNF-α, IL-6 and hs-CRP of the patients in the two groups were detected before and after two months’ treatment. Results Before treatment, difference in levels of TNF-α, IL- 6 and hs-CRP between the two groups was not statistically significant ( all P>0. 05 ) . After two months’ treatment, levels of TNF-α, IL-6 and hs-CRP in group B were significantly lower than those in group A, and the changes of all indicators were significantly higher than those in group A, with statistically significant difference (P<0. 05). Conclusion Ser-um levels of TNF-α, IL-6 and hs-CRP of patients with CHD can be significantly reduced by atorvastatin, which proves to be of great significance in the prevention and treatment of CHD.
