Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of recombinant human brain natriuretic peptide on reaction of oxidative stress and inflammatory cytokines of patients with acute myocardial infarction. Methods 75 patients of acute myocardial infarction with different degrees of heart failure were randomly selected from our hospital from March 2013 to March 2015, and were divided into observation group (45cases) and control group (30 cases) according to different therapeutic methods. Patients in the observation group were given recombinant human brain natriuretic peptide intravenous pumping based on routine treatment, while those in the control group were treated with drops of nitroglycerin. Levels of Serum inflammatory cytokines TNF -a, IL - 6, CRP, oxidative stress indicators inclu-ding SOD, MCP 1, GSH and changes of stress hormones were detected after 3 days’ treatment. Results (1) Inflammatory cyto-kines: after treatment, TNF -a and CRP levels of patients in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, which were statistically significant (P< 0. 05), while IL – 6 of the two groups was not statistically different (P> 0. 05). (2) Oxidative stress and inflammatory reaction: serum SOD and GSH activity of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group, while MCP-1 was lower than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0. 05). (3) Stress hormone: cortisol, growth factors and epinephrine levels of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, which were statistically significant (P<0. 05). Conclusion Recombinant human brain natriuretic peptide can effectively re-duce the inflammatory response degree on patients with acute myocardial infarction and control the reaction of oxidative stress, so as to reduce myocardial cell damage and protect cardiac function.
