Abstract:Objective To study the effect of preoperative visit on anxiety relief in female tumor patients. Methods 86 cases of female cancer patients undergoing elective surgery were randomly selected and the effect of preoperative visit was analyzed according to the physiological characteristics of menopausal women who were with more intense stress to the surgery as well as the principle of behav-ior intervention and psychological suggestion. Results Positive preoperative visit and personalized psychological intervention aiming at the anxiety relief before surgery were conducive to reducing anxiety, depression, tension, fear and other negative emotions, keeping the blood pressure and heart rate in a good range, going through the operation period stably, reducing postoperative complications, promoting a speedy recovery and improving the life quality (P<0. 05). There were positive correlations between the preoperative visit and the physical signs such as blood pressure and heartbeats. Preoperative visit played an important role in the psychological interven-tion and guidance for patients and the communication skills of the visiting nurses were positively related to the effect of intervention. Af-ter the treatment, the cerebral blood flow dynamics, the ADL test and P300 test group were significantly different ( P<0. 05 or P<0. 01). Conclusion The positive preoperative visit and good communication skills can not only significantly reduce the preoperative stress and anxiety and keep the physical signs of female patients stable, but also enable female patients to go through the operation safely and improve the quality of life.
