Vircon Oral Liquid Combined With Tiapride in Treatment of 74-case Children with Gilles De La Tourette’s Syndrome

Abstract：Objective To observe the traditional Chinese medicine of oral liquid combined with tiapride in treatment of children with Tourette syndrome. Methods A retrospective analysis of 122 cases of children with Tourette syndrome in our hospital with clini-cal data, who were randomly divided into two groups:treatment group (n=74 cases) and the control group (48 cases), the control group was treated with tiapride ( western medicine) , and the treatment group was treated with Weierkang oral liquid ( self-made tra-ditional Chinese medicine) combined with sulfur. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 94. 6%, which was sig-nificantly higher than that of the control group ( 68. 8%) . The results were statistically significant ( P<0. 01 ) . Conclusion Weier-kang oral liquid combined with sulfur will be beneficial in the treatment of children with Tourette syndrome, which can achieve the ide-al treatment effect and is worthy to be popularized.
