Abstract:Objective To compare DR conventional photography and panorama splicing technology for entire spine and lower limbs. Methods 80 cases with malformation of spine and lower limbs in our hospital were selected, and randomly allocated to obser-vation group and control group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with DR conventional photography, while the observation group was treated with panorama splicing technology. The image qualities of two groups were compared. Results The clarity rate of image of observation group was much higher than that of control group; with statistically significant difference (χ2=8. 266, P<0. 05). Conclusion Panoramic splicing technology can get the quality image of spine and lower limbs free from limitation of equipment;therefore it can effectively meet the requirements of clinical diagnosis and treatment.
