Abstract:Objective To explore the intervention of dialectical dietary combined with deep breathing exercises to constipation from thoracic fracture. Methods 70 cases of conservative treatment of thoracolumbar vertebral compression fractures were selected as the research object. They were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with35 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and patients in the observation group adopted deep breathing exercises combined with differential diet-ary nursing care. The incidence of abdominal distension and the time of defecation were compared between the two groups. Results The abdominal distension rate of the observation group treated with deep breathing exercises combined with differential dietary nursing care is lower than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).In addition, the defecation time of the observation group was also shorter than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.01).Conclusion Treatment of simple thoracolumbar vertebral compressibility fracture with dialectical dietary combined with deep breathing exercises can reduce the incidence of abdominal distension, shorten the time of defecation, thus it is an effective way to alleviate the pains of pa-tients.
