Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of ultrasonic intermediate frequency ( IF) for frotrusion of lumbar interver-tebral disc. Methods 200 patients with frotrusion of lumbar intervertebral disc treated in our hospital from March 2011 to March 2013 were selected and randomly divided into the experiment group (100 cases) and the control group (100 cases). Both were treated with conventional traction, ultrashort wave and drug therapy. Besides, the experiment group was added the ultrasonic intermediate fre-quency, and the control group was added acupuncture treatment, both lasting for 10 days. After the treatment, the efficacy of the two groups was assessed in reference of JOA. Results The curative rate for patients under 50 in both groups were higher than those for patients over 50, and rate of good treatment for patients under 50 in experiment group was higher than that in control group. The differ-ence was of statistical significance (P<0. 05). Conclusion Treating frotrusion of lumbar intervertebral disc with ultrasonic interme-diate frequency has the exact curative effect and is worthy of popularization and application clinically.
