Clinical Observation of 80 Cases of Chronic Nephritis Treated with Warm Acupuncture Combined with Huangkui Capsule

Abstract：Objective To observe the curative effect of warm acupuncture combined with Huangkui capsule in the treatment of chronic nephritis. Methods 160 patients with chronic nephritis in our hospital from November 30, 2010 to November 30, 2012 were divided into two groups. Patients in the experimental group were given warm acupuncture combined with Huangkui capsule, while pa-tients in the control group were divided into two groups, and they received warm acupuncture and took Huangkui capsule respectively. Curative effects, changes of urine protein and serum creatinine of these groups were compared. Results The total effective rate (60%) of the control group 1 was lower than that of the experimental group (88. 57%) and the control group 2 (85%), which were statistically significant (P<0. 05). However, in the experimental group and the control group 2, the difference was not statistically sig-nificant (P>0. 05). Conclusion The therapy of Huangkui capsule combined with warm acupuncture has obvious curative effect for patients with chronic nephritis.
