The Clinical Research of 180 Cases of Laparoscopic Appendectomy with Economic Silk Ligation

Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect and clinical value of the treatment that appendix stump is ligated with only silk in laparoscopic appendectomy. Methods A retrospective analysis of clinical data of 180 patients was made, who underwent appendicitis laparoscopic appendectomy. Results These operations were successfully completed. All patients had no indwelling catheter before the operations and discharged from hospital 2 ~ 5 days after the operations, and the average hospital stay was 3. 4±1. 5 days. Postoperative patients had no metal or plastic clip in their bodies. Ultrasonic scalpel or biological clamps were not used in the operations. Conclu-sion The curative effect of the treatment that appendix stump is ligated with only silk in laparoscopic appendectomy is precise and reli-able without any metal or plastic clip in the patient’ s body, which reduces the economic burden of the patients. This treatment has popularizing value in the county hospital and the substrate hospital.
