Determination of Astragaioside in Renshenguipi Pills by HPLC - ELSD

Abstract：Objective To establish an HPLC to determine the content of astragaloside in Renshenguipi pills. Methods The HPLC-ELSD was used with Agilent TC C18 column (4. 6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm) at 25 ℃ . The mobile phase was methanol and water (75 :25) with a flow rate at 1. 0mL·min-1 . The temperature of the drift tube in ELSD was 90 ℃ and the flow rate of dry air was 1. 6 L·min-1 . Results Astragaioside showed good regression ( r = 0. 999 0) at 37. 5 ~ 600 μg · mL-1 . The average recovery was 98. 8% . RSD was 3. 4% . Conclusion The method is accurate, simple and reproducible, and can be used for the content determina-tion of astragaloside in components of ginseng Guipi pills, providing basis for the quality control of Renshenguipi pills.
