Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of creatine phosphate sodium on children with acute viral myocarditis. Methods 85 cases of children with acute viral myocarditis were selected in our hospital from January 2006 to August 2013, which were randomly di-vided into the study group with 43 cases and the control group with 42 cases. Patients of the control group were treated with “energy mixture plus ribavirin treatment,” while those in the study group were treated with the method of the control group as well as the treat-ment of creatine phosphate sodium. The curative effects, as well as the recovery and hospitalization time of serum myocardial enzyme spectrum were compared in the two groups. Results The total efficiency in the study group was 95.35%, which was significantly higher than that in the control group 78.57% (P<0.05). cTnI, CK-MB, HBDH recovery time and hospitalization time of the study group were (8.65±1.54) d, (11.57±1.85) d, (10.73±2.69) d and (17.37±3.18) d respectively, while those in the control group were (10.74±1.16) d, (12.03±1.76) d, (13.48±2.92) d and (22.54±4.25) d, the myocardial enzyme recovery time and hospitalization time of the study group were shorter than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Creatine phosphate sodium can en-hance the therapeutic effect of acute viral myocarditis on children, as well as shorten the clinical recovery time.
