Abstract:Objective To detect the level of CK20 in peripheral blood and ascites and its implications on micrometastases of pa-tients with colorectal cancer. Methods The improved fluorescent amplification catalyzed byT7 polymerase technique ( FACTT-T7 RNA) was adopted and through the comparison between the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay ( ELISA) and flow cytometry tech-niques ( FCM) , CK20 levels of 56 patients with colorectal cancer from Nov. 2012 to Nov. 2013 was evaluated by preoperative blood and ascites. Results 56 patients with colorectal cancer, peripheral blood CK20 FACTT positive rate was 57.14% ( 32/56 ) , and ELISA was 25.00% (14/56), ascites CK20 FACTT positive rate was 30.36% (17/56), and FCM was 14.29% (8/56), the differ-ences between the two groups was of statistically significance (P<0.05), by FACTT technique, peripheral and ascites CK20 positive rate was 73.21% (41/56), with significant difference (P<0.05, P<0.01) between the two groups. The level of CK20 expression re-lated to TNM stage and Degree of differentiation (P<0.05). Conclusion Positive expression of CK20 levels in peripheral blood and ascites was high through FACTT combined detection, which is of clinical significance to micrometastasis.
