Abstract:Objective To observe the effects of inhalation of combivent and pulmicort respules with oxygen driven nebulizers on clinical symptoms and signs, dyspnea index, blood gas ( PaO2 , PaCO2 ) and pulmonary function ( FEV1/FVC, PEF) , so as to evalu-ate the clinical efficacy. Methods 60 patients were divided into the control group and the treatment group, both of which were trea-ted with conventional therapy. Besides, the control group (n=30) was supplemented with pulmicort respules with oxygen driven nebu-lizers and the treatment group (n=30) was supplemented with inhalation of combivent and pulmicort respules with oxygen driven neb-ulizers. In a course of treatment (10 days), the two groups were compared in terms of clinical therapeutic effect (clinical total effi-ciency) , dyspnea index score, blood gas analysis ( PaO2 , PaCO2 ) and pulmonary function ( FEV1/FVC, PEF) to evaluate therapeutic effect and adverse reactions. Results The difference in dyspnea index score, PaO2 , PaCO2 , FEV1/FVC and PEF level before and af-ter treatment in the same group were statistically significant ( P<0.05 ) , but the difference in treatment group was more distinct ( P<0.01). After treatment, the difference between the two groups in dyspnea index score, PaO2, PaCO2, FEV1/FVC and PEF level were statistically significant (P<0.01), with better total efficacy in the treatment group (93.33%, compared with 76.67% in the control group). While there was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Inhalation of combivent and pulmicort respules suspension is effective, convenient and safe on AECOPD, with few side effects, worth of application and popularization.
