Relationship of Prognosis and Expression of CPC3 Protein in Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Abstract：Objective To investigate the relationship of prognosis and expression of CPC3 protein in HCC. Methods Immuno-histochemical staining and RT-PCR were applied to detect expression of GPC3 protein in 50 cases of HCC and 25 cases of healthy liver tissue. Liver cancer survival time was analyzed by Kaplan-Meier. The influencing factors of survival of patients were analyzed by COX proportional hazards regression model. Results GPC3 protein positive rate was 82.00% in 50 cases of HCC. According to the results of Kaplan-Meier and Cox methods, GPC3 expression was relative to TNM stage and tumor in version and metastasis. ConclusionGPC3 protein expression may be an independent prognostic factor in HCC prognosis.
