Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of change of concentration of gingerol on blood glucose in mice. Methods Glucose solution was used to produce the mouse model of elevated blood sugar. The mice were fed with the production of high solubility of 6-gingerol solution to observe the role of gingerol solution in delaying acute glucose increase in the model. Results Along with the in-crease of gingerol concentration, the delay of elevated blood glucose was more obvious, while the effects of ginger alcohol solution of low concentration on hypoglycemic in a short period of time were not obvious, even no hypoglycemic effect. Conclusion Gingerol has the effect to reduce blood glucose, and the higher solubility of solution, the more obvious of effects.
