Abstract:Objective To investigate the differences between percutaneous nephrolithotomy and laparoscopic ureterolithotomy in the treatment of upper ureteral calculi. Methods 60 cases in our hospital with upper ureteral calculi were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with percutaneous nephrolithotomy, while the observation group was treated with laparoscopic ureterolithotomy .The satisfaction rate of surgical result and postoperative complications were compared in the two groups. Results The patients’ satisfaction rate in the control group was 56.67%, and the incidence of postoperative complication is 23.33%.By contrast, the patients’ satisfaction rate in the observation group was 83.33%, and the incidence of postoperative complication was 10.00%.There were significant differences between the two groups ( P<0.05 ) . Conclusion The percutaneous nephrolithotomy and laparoscopic ureterolithotomy in the treatment of upper ureteral calculi are all ef-fective.The laparoscopic ureterolithotomy is superior to percutaneous nephrolithotomy in terms of the patients’ satisfaction rate and the incidence of postoperative complication .
