Prognosis Observation of Treating Osteoporotic Trochanter Fracture of Femur of Elderly Patients with Locking Proximac Femoral Plate

Abstract：Objective To investigate clinical effects of treating osteoporotic trochanter fracture of femur of elderly patients with locking proximac femoral plate.Methods 47 elderly patients were selected with intertrochanteric fracture in our hospital from March 2009 to March 2012.All patients used internal fixation with proximal femoral locking plate in the treatment, and all the clinical indexes were analyzed.Results 47 cases of elderly patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture were treated with internal fixation of proxi-mal femoral locking plate.According to the Harris's hip function evaluation standards, 35 patients were excellent and 9 patients were good, with the good and excellent rate of 93.62%.Conclusion The internal fixation with femoral locking plate resulted in fewer com-plications and good clinical effect in the treatment of elderly intertrochanteric fracture.This treatment was a preferred method for inter-trochanteric fracture of femur in elderly patients.
