Study on Fingerprints of Citrus Auranit um by HPLC

Abstract：Objective To study and establish the fingerprint chromatogram for the identification of citrus aurantium.Methods A HPLC analysis was carried out on a Hypersil ODS (4.6 mm×200 mm, 5μm) with the mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile (A)-water (B) in gradient mode.The detection wavelength was set at 284 nm and the column temperature was kept at 35 ℃.The flow rate was 1.0 mL· min -1 . Results The mutual mode of the fingerprints of Citrus aurantium was set up with “Similarity Evaluation System for Chromatographic Fingerprint ofTCM ”, and two characteristic peaks were marked, which were identified by combination of high performance liquid chromatogram and chemical reference sample.The similaritiesof 10 batches of citrus aurantium were above 0. 90.Con clusion The method proves to be repeatable, precise and stable.It can provide scientific basisfor the quality control of citrus aurantium.
