Abstract:In order to resolve the problem of continuous and stable transmission of reluctance permanent magnetic gear, the structure of cylindrical reluctance permanent magnetic gear (CRPMG) was proposed.Firstly, the position's relation and magnetic effect between active poles, stator poles and driven poles were analyzed, and the feasibility of this structure was demonstrated.Secondly, the static and quasi dynamic torque characteristics were simulated with FEM.It is proved that CRPMG has certain transmission ratio, and the continuous and stable transmission can be achieved, the formula of transmission ratio is same as the flux modulation magnetic gear. Finally, the influences of the number of active and driven poles and the width of active poles (WAP) to input and output torque were also investigated. The result shows that as the number of active and driven poles is coprime, the torque fluctuation is small, and the gear has better transmission stability. All the output and input torque and theirs ratio λ are the functions of WAP,and the larger the WAP is,the greater the torque will be.The ratio λ changes along with WAP and has a maximum value.
