Influence of mine tunnel wall humidity on electromagnetic waves propagation
Abstract：There are more water in a mine tunnel.Due to absorbing moisture,tunnel walls will be wet to change the conductivity.This paper analyzes the mechanism of humidity influencing on the conductivity of tunnel walls,and attenuation of electromagnetic waves propagation in a circular tunnel and a rectangular tunnel.The study result shows that in the mine mobile communication frequency range,when the mine water conductivity is low,the humidity has little effect on the propagation of electromagnetic waves,and it can be neglected;when the mine water conductivity is high,the propagation attenuation increases with the humidity.
