Research on support technology with reinforced U shaped Steel stents in high stress coal roadway
Abstract：It was difficult to maintain the stability with the ordinary U36 shaped steel stents in the roadway in Hebi No.2 mine.The original and five new type of enhanced U shaped steel stents to control round arch roadway were studied by the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation method.The corresponding support parameters were designed and applied in the roadway.The results showed that the enhanced U shaped steel stents with longitudinal beams and both sides supports could be adapted to the roadway deformation,which improved the bearing ability of U shaped steel stents and attained a better control effect.It is very important role to extend the support technology with U shaped steel stents in high stress roadway supports.
