Study of the effect on high-voltage transmission line tower of surface slope
Abstract:High-voltage transmission line tower is a kind of high structures and it is sensitive to surface slope due to undermining. Based on the high-voltage transmission line tower effected by mining, the relationship between the stress and deformation of the high-voltage transmission line tower and surface slope was studied by numerical simulation method. The stress, displacement and foundation reverse force of the tower and the criti- cal surface slope were analyzed in different surface slope. The results indicate that the compressive and tensile axis stress of the member bar in the tower increases by square relationship, and the inclination of the tower and its transom increase by linear relationship ,with the increase of surface slope. As the surface slope due to min- ing is larger than the critical surface slope, the axis stress of the bar in the tower will exceed allowable stress so that the tower will be not safe. The foundatio.n reverse force of the tower varies with the increase of surface slope by nonlinear relationship. It provide theoretical basis for the safety evaluation of the high-voltage trans- mission tower in coal mining area.
