Experiment on compressive properties of material of adobe building in Henan Northwest region
Abstract：Adobe building is still used in partial countrysides of Henan Northwestern region, however, durabil- ity of house is not good. This article is a study on soil material about the compression performance of the main wall of adobe building used in countrysides of the region. According to various proportions of gangue and lime, pure soil specimens, gangue soil specimens arid lime soil specimens are made of loess of the region, we ob- tained the specimen destruction shape, the destruction process, the stress-strain relations curve through the single axle pressure test, analyzed primary factor, analyzed primary factor compacting the compression resist- ance capabiloty of raus soit structure earth material, and got conclusions that the mechanical properties of soil material could omproved by mixing stay or lime. It provides reference for studying mechanical properties of the raw-soil wall body.
