Abstract：Wavelet transform with the good partial characteristic in time-frequency regions is an effective way to make time-frequency analysis and processing of the signals．It has mainly discussed the basic theory of wavelet transform，and introduced the principle of the diagnosis in the open-circuit rotor of asychronous motor with wavelet transform．The construction of signal detection circuit is given as well．
