Abstract：According to the factual problem of shaft deformations due to assistant shaft water of Jinqiao coal mine，it has studied the real time observation of shaft’s movement non-linear and deformation by GPS and applied cataclysm theory to build a cataclysm model of shaft damage．Some expression patterns of control and state variables of shaft deformation，which give us a significant guidance of effective dealing with shaft damage have been presented．
