Why Were the Glass Plates in Bolted Glass Curtain Wall Used in the State of Super Strength

Abstract：The stress fields of bolted glass curtain wall under wind load were studied by means of finite element method and the features of the stress states round holes in bolted glass were discussed. Comparing the results of calculation by means of finite element method with experimental data, the reasons that glass plates in bolted glass curtain wall under wind load were used in the state of"super strength"were explained.
