Abstract:This paper studied the effects of different activator on the properties such as strengths, freelinear expansion rate, action of water reducer, water resistance and sulfate resistance of the compositemade of waste gypsums from TiO2 production and fly ash. In this study, three kinds of fly ashes wereused. The results show that the properties of the gypsum combining with the mixture of original statefly ash and high calcium fly ash are better than that of gypsum combining with either fly ash. Thecomposites have high mechanical properties and sulfate resistance.
