Experimental Study on the Properties of Radiation Shield Concrete

Abstract：A kind of radiation shield concrete used for the nuclear reactor engineering was prepared.With the viewpoint of technology and economy, following materials, such as three kinds of graded ag-gregates, 425 Portland blast-furnace cement, a radiation shield property additive and homemade crys-tal water additive were employed C30 concrete with apparent density of 3 600 kg/m3, crystal watercontent of up to 4 % and good radiation shield property for gamma ray and neutron ray.
