Study on Mechanical Properties and Durability of Self-compacting High Performance Concrete

Abstract：C60～C80 self-compacting high performance concrete(SCHPC) was prepared with ultra-pulverized fly ash (UPFA) and superplasiticizer added. Based on selecting the best mix proportion,this paper presents the compressive strength, split-tensile strength, flexural strength, freeze-thaw anddrying shrinkage property etc. of HPC without vibrating, compared with those of HPC with vibrat-ing. The results show that HPC with UPFA has higher tensile-compressive strength ratio and SCHPChas excellent mechanical properties and durability, the drying shrinkage of SCHPC is lower than thatof HPC with vibrating. It is very important for application of SCHPC in reinforced concrete engineer-ing.
