Abstract:[Objective]In response to the current lack of a unified modeling and stiffness solving method for multiple fault types,as well as the inability to perform comparative analysis across multiple faults,a unified modeling and stiffness solving approach was proposed.[Methods]Firstly,a unified approach for modeling and stiffness calculation applicable to multiple typical gear faults was proposed. Then, the dynamic transmission error(DTE)responses for various faults were systematically analyzed and verified through multibody dynamic simulations.[Results]The study reveals that DTE responses exhibit distinct fault characteristic frequencies, harmonics, and sidebands.Compared to vibration responses,DTE is more sensitive to fault severity and shows fewer interference frequencies, especially for minor faults.Multibody dynamic simulations validate the effectiveness of the analytical results.
