Abstract：[Significance]Pipeline robots are efficient and intelligent devices specifically designed for mobility within pipelines to perform tasks such as inspection and cleaning.The application of this technology can significantly reduce the risks and costs associated with manual pipeline operations while improving operational efficiency and safety.[Analysis]The application prospects of pipeline robots in the fields of pipeline inspection and cleaning,as well as the development trends of their technologies,were analyzed in depth.An overview of the current research status of pipeline robots was provided,with classifications from multiple perspectives including their movement modes,functions,and application fields.Through the review of the development history of pipeline robots,the key technical points in this field have been further refined.Insights into technical challenges and future development trends have been put forward,aiming to provide references and guidance for the further research and application of pipeline robot technology.
